Shopaholic can never stop buying....even now..so busy with 2 rascal...I can also shop.....yes...online shopping..

One fine day...Wendy msn me and asked if I am interested to chip in their online spree for Ralph Lauren. Omg...the clothes is soo soo cute ...esp for my little princess...
Without much hesitation ...i conveniently placed my orders for the 1st lot...so happy with my loot...hahaha...and soo addicted....cant stop buying....

Hi There

Realised that it has been quite some time since I last blogged.

It has been a long long period and I have never been able to stop shopping...hahaha...

Lets recap what has happened to me since 14 Sep 2009.....

22 Oct 2009...

I delivered my little princess, Jaylyn...at thomson medical..
It was a planned c-section operation...my darling princess weighing 4.015kgs at birth topped the TMC records for past 3mths..

was really busy with confinement and babysitting...baby Jaylyn is really a darling to mummy...

Last Saturday, I attended a 21st Birthday Bash at 1 Twenty-Six.

The Birthday Gal had book the entire place for her private event...Ambience is Superb....

To compromise with the night's theme colour...which is Gold...both the chic indoor dining area and the outdoor garden area was decorated with gold balloons and together with the soft lightings...and not forgetting with the superb live band performance, I must say, the lead female singer's voice is sooo sooo soothing..it definitely made the crowd feel so comfortable...at least..I can say I truly enjoyed the night.

Food wise, is just some simple cocktail food.....I know this place is not a restuarant but drinking pub in nature, so, cant expect the food to be very impressive....

At 9pm, its the time when the birthday gal supposed to cut her cake. Before they actually brought the cake out to the cake cutting area, I was able to sneak into the cool room where they kept the birthday cake and peep at it...

I couldnt believe what I saw.....it basically is a piece of art to me...and not a cake...this 3tier 3D cake was made to look like many designer labels shopping bags...it is soo soo real....colours and fonts...made it just so convincing...I am really impressed by this piece of art that I couldnt make myself to eat it....Dont believe me....see for yourself....isnt it just too cool......hahaha....

Anyway...Happy 21st Birthday Jia Ni.......thanks for inviting us...we had an enjoyable night.....

Its a real dilemma situation I am facing...I always wanted a chanel coco cabas (if you read abt my last post 'Sad Story...'....I already missed 3 bags from 2nd hand shop. Its really funny..i also dunno why so many ppl also look for it. Everytime I saw the bag in a 2nd hand shop,it will be gone the next day. And I only like the 2007-2008 series..which hardly able to find any brand new ones...only 2nd hand...

Still ...i know many out there also thinking the same as me...if not...in such economy crisis, how can these bags be snap away so fast....all these ppl no need to reconsider meh...ok...I admit...I cheapo...I need to really think so hard and long...that I had to miss 3 rounds..

Just when most of the 2nd hand shop told me..no one is selling...its out of stock....I really tot...maybe its not fated to be mine...Just get alive...

Still...I cant shake it off my mind....my never say die spirit makes me do a last try... I contacted one previous ebay seller, which is selling this coco cabas online..but although knowing someone else had won the bid.. still contacted the seller...hoping I am lucky enough that the deal did not go thru..

Well...details I will cut short...but...all I wanna say is...fated...this time...I cant make myself to miss this one again....and I made the painful yet shiok decision.........ok...I take it....

Look at it...tell me how can you resist this beauty...ok..I know its sinful...I admit...but...I am soo soo luving it....woohoo....

PS. Char...I look back at my last post, "Sad Story...."hahaha....think...ultimately....afterall...we do have fate....hhahaha....woohoo....

Javier's First Birthday...

After many weeks of planning....finally nearing to his big day....Javier was down with measles...

On his lunar bday, 28Apr...he was down with fever....so sudden that all of us really puzzled..the day before..all was well....Initially, we tot he is teething...after having fever for 4days....his temperature finally start to decrease...then...to our horror...he starts to have spots all over his body...pokka dot baby...

Then, doctor diagnose him with german measles..

Shit...he suppose to get his MMR jab when he is 15mths...still..he kanna measles before his vaccination.

OK..having said all..we had to cancel the party as we do not wan to spread the measles to the kids..still...last min..we decide to have a mini one still...after all..his first bday.

So..becomes a private affair...

Lucky me...last min...went to find a bday cake...and still manage to find a nice ice-cream cake...with his fav Pooh bear and friends....

Its been a long time since I last blog...was really busy and nothing special had happened to me....

Today..whole day Im feeling sooo sooo slpy in the office..because I was chatting with char late last night....talking abt a new dream of mine....so excited over it...so much hopes on making my dreams come true...Just when I was abt to blog abt my new goal, new love....I received a mail...... a bad news....totally ruin my night...trashed my dream....

Last night...I was talking to Char...as I am browsing thru the ebay...looking for the black bag I always wanted. Although I found one..tat is within budget...and a quite "me" kinda bag...but still, I couldnt get over a bag I saw in a 2nd hand mailto:shop@United Square..although I know very well that the price is far too ex from my budget...but..couldnt resist touching it..holding it...and...put it back to the shelf...and walk out of the shop...and...tats the last time I saw it..good bye...my Chanel Coco Cabas...

I thought I could get over it very fast since it is a nearly impossible buy..since market recession had indeed hit me bad..no bonus..no increment..no much savings...spending 3k for a bag....is soo soo sinful.....but..I was wrong,...yesterday....while browsing thru the ebay...I was telling Char...i missed the bag...trying to find the picture of the bag....but couldnt coz I dunno the actual name..until Char showed me a pic...after I describe to her the shape..and material..the picture popped up...and I know...I really soo soo wan it...

After looking at the pic Char sent to me... suddenly many evil tots keep coming in my mind....I know it is not practical to waste the money on it...but...it is a really hard fighting between my lust and desire...over practicality...I even have tots of selling my beloved nappa aire...my tivoli....just to chip in funds to fulfill my lust...I prayed hard for 4D to strike...but now..all seems useless...

5mins before I on my pc...wanted to blog..I receive a mail from the 2nd hand shop....

"Hi,Very sorry the Chanel coco cabas had been sold, because it's a very popular item, so when you happen to se it again, act first. "

Kao....who says Singapore is having a recession....it is less then a week...and the bag was sold...kao...seems like...even in a situation like this...ppl is still willing to spend money on material items..think thats the way to keep the economy moving......
Well....at least...i still able to keep my bags and money in my pocket...

While im flipping thru this mth's issue of Her World Mag, I saw this article, which I find it very interesting and wants to share with all of you.
Base on Karen Pine and Simonne Gnessen, who authored the book, titled, Sheconomics. In the book they mentioned that a woman's attitude towards money is shaped by emotion rather than thought. So, by recognising these emotions, you'll be able to shop and save better.
To help you identify your sentiments about money, try taking the following test:

Circle/Take down the words that apply to you when you are making money decision.

ANGER: This can happen when you are angry with yourself (for making bad investment decisions for example) or with others for their bad money habits (like a husband who fritters away both of your hard-earned incomes). Feeling angry could lead to comfort spending.
Do This: Nver make any money decision in this emotional state. Find a way to claim yourself down first, like going for a walk or calling a friend. The delay will give you a better perspective.

FEAR: Your fear of dealing with money matters could stem from an experience of losing money or having seen it happen to someone close to you.
Do This: Take a good, hard, look at your financial situation and make necessary changes. Develop a system to reduce your expenditure so you'll feel more secure about the money you have, or find out how to save better.

DISGUST: You might have been conditioned by your parents or religous teaching to associate money with negetive attributes like greed or arrogance.
Do This: Identify your negative beliefs about money. Ask yourself if these assumptions are fair (for instance, not all rich ppl are greedy and arrogant) learn to develop a more balanced view.

SHAME: If you often ashamed of your lack of financial know how, you could shy away from discussions that prevent you from learning about money matters.
Do This: Make a commitment to share something about your finances that you would normally keep to yourself, such as the value of your property, with trusted friends. Engage in open discussions about money and dont be afraid to ask. That way, you will experience and learn to appreciate the advice and support from others.

After so long, finally able to pen down my first blog. Had been wanting to blog for so long, but…seems like my boring lifestyle has nothing interesting to talk about. However, being a full pledge shopping queen cum lobang queen, who loves to search for the cheapest bargain in town, I really wanna share my bestbuy to all my friends out there.
